At Leading Edge Kennels, our Tikka was bred to hunting and working homes in mind.  We compete in hunt tests, and hunt ducks with our Retriever on rugged upland, and west coast grounds.   Every year, we trek to the interior for pheasant, and grouse, finishing with our trip with moose, and deer hunt.  We never lose game that is down, thanks in part, to our girl Tikka.  When not hunting, our Tikka enjoys riding in the woods with me and my horse, fishes and keeps me company by an evening fire. Golden Retrievers are versatile athletic dogs:  Tikka is no exception to the rule! 

Tikka has earned her WCX title, Master CKC Titles, as well as one finished pass with United Hunting Retriever Club.  Tikka can mark a bird with speed and accuracy, and her quartering skill, flushing birds as she zig zags through cover, is a joy to watch.  She has a flying water entry and movement which is also easy on the eyes!  She is a fine example of a "field golden", built lean, bred beautiful, aiming to please.

 Golden Tikka has (OFA) hip and elbow, as well as eye (CERF and Optigen prod-PRA), heart (OFA) clearances. Our puppies will come with a written health guarantee and lifetime breeder support.  Puppies sell out in advance and reservations are recommended for your pup.
